Georgia Peach Festival
“On Feb 9, 2012 the 2011 Georgia Peach Queens were honored with a resolution passed by both the House of Representatives and the Senate recognizing the Queens for their great contribution to the Georgia Peach Industry, Georgia Peach Festival and the Peach Growers. The Queens were brought to the podium of each chamber and introduced by Lt Governor Casey Cagle in the Senate and Speaker David Ralston in the House as the resolutions were read.  The Queens, along with their families, also meet and had photos with Governor Nathan Deal and Secretary of State Brian Kemp. Special thanks to Representative and Mrs. Robert Dickey for hosting the visit.”
